POSITION SUMMARY

 

The Recruiter will be responsible for providing recruiting support for all ongoing recruiting efforts for the K9 Department.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide support to multiple positions and manage a high volume of candidates simultaneously
  • Provide complete and accurate information to candidates about the company and position
  • Screen and evaluate applicants’ work history, education, training, skills, and compensation needs to obtain best match for position
  • Manage the candidate flow in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) in accordance with company and OFCCP guidance
  • Collaborate with hiring managers, program managers, and the business development team to develop custom recruiting strategies
  • Utilize social media, job fairs, networking events, and various recruiting methods to attract potential candidates
  • Manage competing priorities simultaneously
  • Recommend improved efficiencies for systems and processes
  • Provide weekly performance metrics
  • Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Prior recruiting experience required
  • BA/BS strongly preferred
  • Ability to obtain an STA or KTN preferred
  • Familiarity with military language and understanding military records preferred
  • Possess strong organizational skills
  • Able to work independently or within a team
  • Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and ADP is a plus
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and familiar with recruiting tools
  • Self-starter with track record of producing results in fast-paced environment
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
  • Knowledge of recruitment processes and strategies
  • Ability to accurately interpret and apply policies, procedures, and laws related to employment
  • Must have the ability to interface effectively with all levels of management

WORKING CONDITIONS

Work is typically based in a busy office/training environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday-Sunday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm local times, however some extended hours may be required.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

 

Must be able to lift, lower, carry, push, or move objects up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching, kneeling, and bending throughout the workday.
