QAC Production Trainer - Remote

Role Overview:

Could you be our next QAC Production Trainer? Globe Life is looking for an experienced QAC Production Trainer to join the team!

In this role, you will be responsible for training all new hire classes of QAC production representatives to get them ready for making QAC calls. The trainer must be able to train representatives on additional lines of business as needed and keep the QAC department updated on all procedure changes. They will also develop and make changes to the training curriculum. Training will occur for both FT/PT QAC production representatives (alternating schedules) and will maintain the highest standards of quality and quantity possible. You will support the staff in meeting their functional KPI’s and the department goals, while maintaining professional behavior and a caring demeanor. You will maintain a flow of communication with all other QAC Supervisors and Managers on all aspects of quality, performance, and any other issues/concerns. You will facilitate refresher sessions for evening and day shift employees as needed [provide a brief description of primary responsibilities and any teams they may be working closely with to fulfill responsibilities].

This is a remote / work from home position.

What You Will Do:

  • Train new hire QAC production representatives. Give them orientation to what the QAC function is and teach them to how to verify applications successfully
  • Hold day and night classes for full time and part time representatives as needed
  • Make updates to the training curriculum as needed and design changes to continuously improve its content and effectiveness
  • Stay informed of QAC procedure changes and design updates for the staff
  • Hold refresher classes as needed
  • Assist supervisors in working with representatives needing extra assistance to meet standards
  • Train representatives in additional lines of business when they are ready for it
  • Ensure new hires are set up with necessary credentials for the QAC and phone systems
  • Set up workstations for new employees, ensuring all the needed applications are available as well as sign-ons to specialty programs
  • Track progress of trainees over time to determine training presentation adjustments needed
  • Help to motivate and maintain a positive environment between the QACRs, members of leadership, and the management team
  • Coordinate with QAC Supervisors with respect to training curriculum, techniques, and procedures
  • Help in design of office contests and campaigns to motivate staff toward good performance
  • Coordinate office supply ordering

What You Can Bring:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of prior training/teaching experience and/or combination of experience and education.
  • Bachelor’s degree in education, Business, or Organization leadership, or combination of experience and education.
  • 1+ year of solid performance as a QAC representative with an excellent attendance record.
  • Required to be proficient in all lines of business for QAC.
  • Prior experience in insurance setting is a plus.
  • Must be able to switch between day and evening shifts as needed.
  • Able to present effective training both verbally and in writing
  • Able to plan and lead a class on all aspects of QAC
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees. Must have the ability to give honest and productive feedback
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology and accurate spelling a plus
  • Strong PC and organizational skills
  • Able to handle high stress situations calmly and with tact and professionalism
  • Strong people skills with the ability to motivate and promote a good working environment
  • Curriculum Development
  • Strong writing and record keeping ability for reports and training manuals
  • Strong decision-making skills with the ability to analyze situations and make logical positive outcome conclusions
  • Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Must be self-reliant and self-assured to make independent decisions within the framework of the company protocol
  • Advanced PC skills with proficient use in Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent written, oral communication, and organization skills
  • Able to teach concepts to groups and individuals in a clear and logical manner
