Job Description

Our client is an established design/build firm of over 20+ years that specializes in the NYC High End Residential market. They are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to join their team, overseeing a variety of interesting projects that they have in the pipeline.

Responsibilities:

• Thoroughly examine construction plans, sketches, and shop drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare project-specific budgets, control estimates, change orders, and vendor procurement documentation.
• Review and approve payment applications from subcontractors.
• Prepare and submit monthly payment applications to the project owner.
• Source and acquire necessary tools, materials, fixtures, and appliances as outlined in the contract documents.
• Provide regular site updates and develop weekly work plans.
• Develop and manage the sequence of construction activities to ensure smooth progress.
• Communicate and coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to meet onsite requirements.
• Maintain and enforce site safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.
• Implement and manage the work plan on site to achieve project milestones.
• Establish and maintain labor efficiency throughout the project duration.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience in construction management. NYC Residential experience required.
• 62-Hour SST Card
• Proficient in use of Project Management Software
• Knowledge of common building systems/components
