Job Description

For the Product Specialist position, applicants should take pride and ownership in ensuring customers’ needs are met and questions are answered to create an excellent customer service experience for all guests. Product Specialists are vehicle experts, responsible for demonstrating vehicle features and technology to customers for education purposes; assisting with customer questions and troubleshooting; greeting customers, as well as ensuring they feel valued and heard; fostering relationships with current customers while cultivating relationships with new customers. Assist clients with vehicle technology. Perform professional and knowledgeable demonstrations of vehicles at time of sale and post delivery refresh. Perform test drives and guide clients through the sales process. CRM duties: data mining, run campaigns, lead response, snap cell, query response. Arrange and perform active vehicle deliveries offsite. Answer phones, transfer calls, take messages. Service duties: assist clients with tech and feature questions, assist with service client overflow. Clearly and concisely consult with clients in person, virtually, and by phone. Maintain dealer training. Vehicle lot management. Are you Qualified? Ability to provide exceptional customer service with good listening skills and a positive attitude. Comfortable working computers and learning new software. Ability to learn, retain, and articulate new information. Ability to independently define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, percentages, and taxes. Ability to multitask in a fast paced atmosphere, as a self-starter and critical thinker in a team environment. Possess the drive, desire, and determination to meet production goals and expectations. Must be comfortable communicating with customers, both written and verbally on all platforms, ie phone/text/email/video. Well groomed appearance. Minimum high school diploma or GED. Clean driving record. Willingness to submit, and pass, a pre-employment drug screen and background check. Knowledge of new technology and/or electronics is a plus.
