National Accounts Sales Support Specialist Job Summary

The Sales Support Specialist will assist the National Accounts sales team and customers with customer requests, and sales team support. This includes administration of files and data, analyzing trends to support account growth, responding to customer requests, assisting with trade show needs, and corresponding with customers and internal teams to ensure needs are addressed. Reports to the Strategic Accounts Manager.

National Accounts Sales Support Specialist Duties

• Supports by analyzing pricing data by running monthly pricing files, reviewing customer-specific pricing, and comparing data to RJ Schinner cost files.
• Assures pricing data accuracy by adjusting and/or reporting discrepancies to field Sales Representatives.
• Administers regular sales reports, conducts sales analysis, and reports findings to appropriate Sales Representatives
• Responds to customer requests for product data and sourcing queries.
• Coordinates with the procurement team and vendors to obtain samples for customers
• Supports trade show activity by assisting with preparation, reviewing, and compiling leads, and coordinating sales opportunities between national accounts and field sales reps
• Assists with troubleshooting problems with customer orders, customer accounts, etc.
• Works with Account Managers to create and implement targeted sales strategies
• Uses data analytics to make recommendations to improve sales
• Keeps up with new product sales launches and communicate with sales team.
• Other duties as assigned

National Accounts Sales Support Specialist Qualifications

• High School Diploma required
• 3-5 years of customer service, marketing, or sales experience
• Polished communication and organizational skills
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Intermediate-to-advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Proven ability to interact and professionally communicate with multiple levels of an organization
• Effectively analyze data, identify problems quickly and implement appropriate solutions in a fast-paced environment.
• Established sense of urgency
• Excellent detail orientation
• Remarkable with accommodating differing personalities
• Masterful relationship building ability

What Could Make You Stand Out

• Associate’s degree or higher

• Prior experience with an ERP software program strongly preferred
