Description

Our Project/Event Managers are responsible for planning and organizing events of all types, while directing the coordination of activities to prepare for the day of the event. He or she is responsible for all operational, implementation and post- event activities. The Project/Event Manager will work with our professional Event Coordinators and Site Supervisors to ensure the Associate and Equipment verticals of Pride Group are exceeding the expectations of our clients.

This position will also be accountable for developing, managing and communicating information, process and procedures that maximize efficiency and accountability in the event life cycle.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES OF AN EVENT MANAGER:

• Create, manage and communicate information, internal & external to implement event plans that maximize efficiency, process and procedures.
• Fostering internal & external relationships through the development of trust while exceeding the Client's expectation.
• Knowledge of codes, compliance's, and current industry guidelines to create safe and functional events.
• Develop process to exceed Pride Group standards that will result in maximizing profitability of the events.
• Provide long term thought , strategy and vision connected with events to predict challenges and identify opportunities to strengthen client relations and profitability.
• Implementation of technology to create event maps and timelines for short and long term planning.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

• 2+ years Event Management or coordinating experience
• Excellent organization
• Planning and Project management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft, Excel, PP, Word ~ Computer Skills
• Strong Communication and follow up skills
• Demonstrates ability for accuracy and thoroughness
• Effective time management
• Willingness to work weekends & holidays

Qualifications

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Chandler, AZ 85226: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
• Events management: 1 year (Required)
