CURRENT VACANCY: This is a vacancy to be filled by an outgoing, self-motivated individual to serve as the Northeast regional hunter safety coordinator for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission’s Hunter Safety and Public Shooting Range Section
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: This is a managerial position encompassing strategic planning, development, and coordination of volunteer resource activities for the hunter safety program. Tasks include:
Providing oversight of Florida’s Hunter Safety Program in the northeast region:
Promoting and providing additional hunter safety training activities:
Assisting in supervision of Commission managed shooting ranges:
Creating and maintaining a high-performance environment:

Working Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm Working hours will be variable at times, requiring work on holidays, weekends, and nights and hours in excess of eight hours during one day. Employee is expected to balance their schedule to not exceed 40 hours per week.

Residency Requirement: None; however, the employee is expected to work from the established office.
L evel of Education: BS degree in business/marketing or a natural resource related field from an accredited college or university. One year of relevant work experience can be substituted for each year of required education.
