Stamford Health is seeking a Contracts Manager to join their team!! The Contract Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of products, equipment, and/or services to support the needs of the enterprise. Portfolio management includes all aspects of the contract lifecycle including but not limited to identifying contract/savings opportunities, engaging with internal and external stakeholders to create contracting plans, negotiating contracts, ensuring contract requirements are met or exceeded, and generating cost savings and avoidance through effective portfolio management. Individual must be able to source products, equipment, and services through both the Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) and from the market, coordinate evaluation of options with key stakeholders, and create effective contracts that drive value for the organization. This position requires a high level of customer interaction and timely responses.

Responsibilities

• Ability to interact and communicate effectively across teams.
• Ability to adhere to deadlines and being comfortable in a fast paced environment.
• Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or related field required.
• Previous experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
• 5-10 years experience reviewing, monitoring, and/or negotiating contracts and/or
• other similar documents required.
• 3 years leadership experience required.
• Knowledge of Meditech and Meditract preferred, along with contemporary purchasing and materials management techniques and resources such as Broadjump, Vizient, ECRI etc.
• Exquisite communication, time management, follow up and organizational skills are essential.
• A strong understanding of contract compliance as it relates to BAA's, NDA's, Physician agreements etc.
