JOB DESCRIPTION: This role will be partime/fulltime and is imperative to the day to day operations and culture of the cafe. Daily tasks include but are not limited to; greeting customers, creating drinks, following recipes and creating an excellent customer service experience. 

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience in a coffee shop or other hospitality setting, 1 year minimum preferred *Previous experience with working with individuals with varying abilities is a plus, not a requirement. *However, one is required to understand the Ethan and the Bean mission of inclusion, patience, training, and acceptance of all. *Delivers outstanding customer service to all customers by acting with a customer comes first attitude and connecting with the customer *Has understanding of POS systems. *Ability to muti-task and prioritize cafe specific tasks *Availability to work weekend days, based on the needs of the cafe *Must be able to lift up to 75lbs with proper technique and safety equipment *Able to work in continuously-standing position for five or more hours

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Dial-in espresso machine at the beginning of shift, and throughout the day as necessary *Expertly steam milk to the correct texture and temperature *Prepare coffee and espresso drinks according to our menu and customer specifications *Prepare batch iced coffee and tea *Professionally greets and takes customer orders *Educates customer by presenting and explaining the coffee drink menu *Fluently operates POS system and collection of money *Follows standards for stocking, rotating, and storing all menu items and other products *Comply with health and safety regulations *Baking items, when assigned job tasks *Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the kitchen/bar station on a daily basis *Bus tables as necessary cleaning the Lobby area

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $14.13 - $16.00/hour.
